Careful work,
clearly priced
We keep the practice deliberately narrow so we can do a few things properly. Below is the whole of what we offer, what each engagement involves, and roughly what it costs. If you need something outside this, we'll tell you honestly and point you somewhere good.
What each piece
of work looks like
Family financial planning
A full written plan built from your real numbers, reviewed annually. We work independently of any product provider, so the plan serves you and not a commission schedule.
- Income, cover and retirement modelled to age 90
- Education and major-goal funding mapped year by year
- An annual review sitting to keep it honest
- Written in language you can explain to your family
Business structuring
We look at the whole picture — company, property, trust and the people — and design a structure that is efficient, defensible and able to change hands cleanly.
- Ownership and holding structure design
- Tax efficiency reviewed against current SARS practice
- Asset protection between business and family
- Documented so an auditor and a successor can follow it
Risk & cover review
An independent read of every policy you hold, with a plain verdict on what to keep, cut or replace. We're paid by you, not by the insurer.
- Line-by-line review of existing cover
- Gap and over-insurance analysis
- Fee-based advice with no product commission
- A one-page action list you can act on immediately
Estate & succession
The full handover conversation, planned in good time — wills, trusts, business succession and the fairness questions, all set down while everyone can still weigh in.
- Will and trust structuring with your attorney
- Business succession and handover planning
- Liquidity planning so the estate isn't forced to sell
- Family meetings facilitated with care
One family, forty years,
one adviser
A George retail family · three generations advised
We've advised the same George retail family since 1983 — the founder, his children, and now his grandchildren. The first plan we wrote fit on two pages. Today the same family holds a trading company, two properties and a trust, all structured to pass down without a fight and without a forced sale.
None of that comes from clever products. It comes from one firm keeping count patiently across decades, so that each generation inherits both the assets and the reasoning behind them. That continuity is the service. It is also why we don't try to be everything.
Start with a conversation,
not a category
Most people arrive unsure whether their question is planning, structuring or something in between. That's fine — sorting that out is the first thing we do, at no charge.
