Dovrano & Sons
Our approach

Slow country,
unhurried advice

We're a fee-based, independent practice. That single fact shapes everything else — how we meet you, how we're paid, and why we can say things a product-tied adviser can't. Here is how an engagement actually runs.

The engagement, step by step

From first meeting
to signed plan

Two people talking across a desk in warm light
01

The first conversation

An hour, at no cost, to understand what you're really trying to solve. We listen more than we talk, and by the end we'll tell you plainly whether we're the right firm for it.

Gathering the facts

We collect the documents and the numbers, and we do the unglamorous reconciling ourselves. Advice built on guessed figures isn't advice, so we insist on the source paper.

03

The written recommendation

You get a plan in plain language, with the reasoning shown and the trade-offs named. Nothing hidden in a footnote, nothing you can't explain to your spouse.

An annual review meeting with a marked-up plan
04

Doing it, and reviewing it

We help you put the plan into motion and then sit with it — an annual review at minimum, because a plan that isn't revisited quietly stops being true.

Portrait of Raffaele Dovrano

"Because nobody pays us to recommend their product, the only thing we have to sell is being right over the long run. That keeps us honest better than any code of conduct."

Ready when you are

The first hour
costs you nothing

Come with the numbers, the worries and the half-formed questions. We'll tell you what we see and whether we can help — no obligation to go further.
