Hands reviewing a printed statement
First reviews are done on paper — figures read differently once they leave the screen.

From 600 unverified suppliers
to a defensible view
A family-owned agricultural processor near Oudtshoorn · engagement over 11 months
The business had grown by acquisition and inherited a supplier ledger nobody trusted — roughly 600 accounts, many duplicated, dormant or unverifiable. Payments were leaving the door without a clear line of sight, and the bank had begun asking questions the owners couldn't answer with confidence.
We rebuilt the supplier master from the source documents up, matched payments against contracts, and retired every account that couldn't be evidenced. Where relationships mattered we re-papered them properly. The whole exercise was documented so it would hold up to an auditor — and to the next generation running the books.
A supplier base the family can stand behind, a payments process the bank now accepts without query, and roughly R2.4m in duplicated or erroneous outflows caught before it left. The ledger reads like a ledger again.
"They didn't tell us what we wanted to hear. They told us what the numbers were doing, and then they sat with us until we understood it. That is the whole difference."

Four kinds of work,
one standard of care

Financial planning for families
A written plan you can actually follow — income, cover, education and retirement mapped against the life you're actually living, reviewed each year rather than filed and forgotten. We plan for the ordinary decades, not just the brochure moments.

Structuring for owner-run businesses
How the business, the property and the family assets fit together decides how much tax you pay, how exposed you are, and how cleanly it can pass on. We design the structure once, properly, and keep it current as the law and the business change.

Risk & cover review
Most people are insured for the wrong things at the wrong price. We read the policies you already hold, find the gaps and the waste, and tell you plainly what to keep, cancel or replace — without earning a cent on the product either way.

Estate & succession
The uncomfortable conversation, handled with care and in good time. Wills, trusts, the handover of a business and the fairness questions between siblings — set down clearly now so the family isn't guessing later.
Who you'll
actually sit with
A small practice by design. You meet the person doing the work, and you keep them.

"We keep count for people who intend to be here in twenty years."
Bring the questions
you've been putting off
An initial consultation costs you nothing but an hour and honesty. We'll tell you whether we can help, what it would involve, and what it would cost — before you commit to anything.
